Magnificent Boeing 777

China Southern Airline's future plans call for First Class seats to lay flat ... a complete 180 degrees on its Boeing 777-B aircraft, so that our customers may relax in total comfort.

All our flights between Australia and China are on the international version of the state of the art wide-bodied aircraft, Boeing 777. China Southern Airlines' Boeing 777 accommodates passengers in Premium Business, Pearl Class and Economy Class, providing great in-cabin facilities and comfort, a wide choice of gourmet meals and personalised TV screens, offering latest movies and entertainment in both English and Chinese.

Smoking is not permitted on any China Southern flight.

Premium Business Class

Premium Business Class, with its 2-2-2 seating configuration, offers deluxe amenities you would normally associate with first class. Premium Business Class seats have electronically controlled leg and backrest, and headrest with cushioned side wings for comfort and privacy. All seats in Premium Business Class have 60-inch (153-cm) pitch and 160 degree recline for great comfort.

There is a wide choice of gourmet meals of both Chinese and Western cuisine, which are also provided on demand. Personal armrest video monitors feature 11 channels of latest release movies and 8 easy listening music channels. Each seat is equipped with a satellite telephone and power for laptop. Fax machine is also available in the cabin.

All Premium Business Class passengers receive an invitation to the Qantas International Lounge, before their departure to Guangzhou. On arrival in Guangzhou, Premium Business Class passengers are offered a complementary limousine transfer to their hotel.

In 2003, China Southern Airlines will be introducing flat beds in Premium Business Class cabins on all international routes, including Australia.

Pearl / Business Class

Pearl Class offers Business Class service and seating at an Economy fare - the luxury passengers demand, at a fare they can afford.

The Pearl Class cabin seats 65 passengers in a roomy 40 inch pitch, 2 x 3 x 2 seat layout, which means you are never more than one seat from an aisle. The generous 21% additional space to economy class seating means you have plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the adjustable leg rest with padded lower leg support. The seat reclines to a comfortable 120 degrees, suitable for a good night's rest.

Pearl Class seats also have an individual satellite telephone and an armrest fold out video screen, offering a choice of 9 channels. Pearl Class meals are served on fine china, on a tablecloth, and the passengers have a great selection of gourmet dishes.

Priority check-in counters are designated for Pearl Class passengers travelling from Melbourne and Sydney to Guangzhou.

Economy Class

The Boeing 777 Economy Class cabin is recognised as being the most spacious and comfortable of any aircraft, accommodating 207 passengers at the most competitive rates.

Economy Class provides comfortable seating in a standard 3-4-3 seat layout and a private video screen in the backseat, featuring the latest release Western and Chinese movies and entertainment.
